2023 Highlights

Zillah Teapot Visitor Center Attracts People Nationally – The Zillah Teapot Visitor Center is operating Wednesday – Saturday with a relatively set schedule, and hours do expand when volunteers are available. New merchandise has proven popular.

Zillah Banquet & Auction – After a several year hiatus, we relaunched the popular Zillah Auction and it was a success! We had a great turnout at the Wine Event Center at Zillah Lakes and raised several thousand dollars for our scholarships. It was a terrific event and we look forward to building on this past year’s success.

2023 Scholarships Awarded – We distributed a record amount of scholarship money to five Zillah High School Students

Social Media – We are active on social media which not only keeps our community involved in Zillah, it brings visitors and business to Zillah also. We often hear what a dynamic community we must have based on an average of 20 posts per month on Facebook alone celebrating all things Zillah. Peak posts will often reach at least 2,500 with active engagement numbers. Our top post for 2023 so far reached over 10,000 people with engagement of 1,500+ people for Jones Farms and Community Days reached almost 10,000 people. The post we did on the press release for Zillah’s Teapot being on the Harley Davidson Road trip site reached nearly 6,000 people.

And when you’re a Zillah Chamber Member, you get dedicated posts for you and your business and events. You can even supply the content if desired, and if not, we create it for you!

Business After Hours – We have held 4 business after events in Zillah this year at different locations. Each one has featured a different guest speaker and has been a great way for us to help promote local businesses and the Zillah Chamber.

Help Promote Annual ‘No Rhyme or Reason’ Country Flea Market – This annual event has become a mainstay of Zillah and attracts people from the community and the entire Yakima Valley

Catch The Crush, Red Wine & Chocolate – We help promote the local wine events to drive business to our member wineries

Back Country Horsemen – We help promote this annual event that takes place around the Halloween weekend and brings in 10s of thousands of dollars to the Zillah community

Zillah Light Fest & Zillah Old Fashioned Christmas – We help promote these annual popular holiday events

Zillah Community Days – We help promote and create awareness for the annual celebration of Zillah

Featured business – Each chamber meeting, we have a local business do a presentation. They are then featured in social media

Our Vision for 2024

• Creating networking opportunities and exciting advertising campaigns – we currently have 2,200+ Facebook followers and 1,800+ Facebook page likes, and our audience keeps growing.
• Hold Awards Banquet & Auction, manage the Wine & Beer Garden at Community Days and the Zillah Flea Market.
• Sponsor events to raise funds for scholarships, community projects and sponsorships.
• ‘Business After Hours’ on the fourth Tuesday of the month to promote networking and education in the business community
• Developing our membership base near Zillah and the Lower Yakima Valley

2024 Membership Levels

$500 – Platinum Membership – Recommended for cities, utilities and businesses with multiple entities or any business that would like the additional benefits. Included in your membership will be a link to your website or desired business page(s), a bio of your business(es) written by you, your business logo(s) on the chamber website along with advertising on social media throughout the year and recognition at all chamber sponsored events. Also included with your membership will be unlimited advertising for your business(s) special events & promotions and (2) VIP tickets to a Chamber sponsored event. $50 from your membership dues go straight to the Zillah Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and you can consider adding an additional amount.

$350 – Diamond Membership – Includes a link to your website or desired business page(s), a bio of your business(es) written by you, your business logo(s) on the chamber website along with advertising on social media throughout the year and recognition at chamber sponsored events. $35 from your membership dues go straight to the Zillah Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and you can consider adding an additional amount.

$250 – Ruby Membership – Includes a link to your website or desired business page, a bio of your business written by you and your business logo on the chamber website along with advertising on social media throughout the year. $25 from your membership dues go straight to the Zillah Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and you can consider adding an additional amount.

$150 – Sapphire Membership –Includes a link to your website or desired business page and a small business logo on the chamber website along with advertising on social media throughout the year. $15 from your membership dues go straight to the Zillah Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and you can consider adding an additional amount.

$100 – Emerald Membership – Includes a link to your website or desired business page and a small business logo on the chamber website and advertising on social media throughout the year. $10 from your membership dues go straight to the Zillah Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and you can consider adding an additional amount.

$100 –  Non Profits, Schools and Churches Membership –Includes a link to your website or desired business page and a small business logo on the chamber website and advertising on social media throughout the year. $10 from your membership dues go straight to the Zillah Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and you can consider adding an additional amount.

$75 – Friends Membership – Recommended for non-business owner community members and non-profits. Included in your membership will be your name on the website as a community member. $7 from your membership dues go straight to the Zillah Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and you can consider adding an additional amount.
